Step-in Escape Proof Cat Vest and Leash Set

Great harness and leash set for that "escape proof confidence" This is such a wonderful product. We are having problems in my neighborhood with a group of people stealing cats, both strays and people's pet cats that they let outside for a short time during the day for fresh air or to go to the bathroom. This is such a lifesaver so my kitties can still go outside supervised with me during the day and enjoy the fresh air, and I have the peace of mind that they're not going to playfully run away and get into trouble. I ordered this harness in size medium and in the color Hawaii Green because the colors are beautiful and bright, and it definitely helps my kitty to stand out. This product comes in five different sizes from XXS to large and the measurements are very precise to help provide a snug fit. It has a dual secure system that includes both velcro and buckles, and it comes with a very nice matching leash with a sturdy clip. There's also a nice ergonomic semi-arc neckline which is great because a lot of other harnesses are straight cut and they can press against the kitty's throat when they play. This semi-arc design helps follow the natural curve of the neck preventing the risk of throat injury. One of the suggestions in the listing is if your kitties have fuller bellies, to size up. I think that's a very good idea and I can see where this would be helpful. This harness is made from a very nice material- a very soft, breathable, polyester mesh, which helps prevent kitties from getting too hot, especially if you have a warmer climate. This is such a wonderfully made product, and such a thoughtful product that allows your cat the freedom to go outside and get fresh air, and gives you as the owner piece of mind that your kitty will stay safe next to you while they enjoy the outdoors. One bonus thing if this applies to your situation, is I have a cat that is virtually impossible to catch when you need to take him to the vet, and he knows when you're trying to catch him where he's going. He bites and claws, making it very traumatic for the both of us get him into his carrier. I'm thinking I can try to put the vest on him with enough time before the vet, that I can use the harness to my advantage to get him in his cat carrier. I'm thinking that I may only be able to use this trick once however, but it's definitely worth a try

Stylish and strong I ordered this PetThem upgraded cat harness and leash set and found not only is it stylish but its strong. Because of the medium size the harness is slightly big for Zora, which is on the thin side. Zora is the adorable grey color cat as shown in my photo. It does fit Snow, our white furball as shown in other photos. And because Snow is bigger, its a perfect fit! The Hawaiian design is stylish. Stands out nicely. Has reflected strips to help in nighttime walks. This harness is well made and its design allows just one person to place kitty into it. No need for a second person to help. Takes less than 10 seconds to put Snow into harness, no fumbling. Both the harness and leash are strong and holds her securely. Lightweight material with just enough padding. The velcro and buckles are easy to work with but not much adjustment is allowed. Therefore choosing the right size is critical. Overall, good price for such a colorful stylish harness leash set that is soft, flexible and easy to work with.

Easy to use and great for outdoor time Now that the weather is warming up, one of our cats starts meowing to go outside every evening, so I ordered this harness to take him into the backyard. It’s very easy to put on — I lay it on the floor, place his front paws in the openings, and secure it with the Velcro before he has a chance to resist. Now that he associates it with going outside, he doesn’t mind wearing it at all. I ordered a size medium, and it fits both of our cats well (they’re around 13–14 lbs). It’s been a quick and easy solution for giving him a bit of fresh air. I wouldn’t leave him unattended while wearing it, but that’s true for any harness and not a reflection of this product’s quality or fit. Overall, I’m very happy with this item.

Secure, Comfortable, and Great for Outdoor Adventures The PetThem upgraded cat harness and leash set worked really well for my cat overall. Not for uncooperative cats This harness and leash are quite lightweight yet appear very well made and durable. All the fastenings are easy to open and close, and are very secure once in place. I like that the harness has reflective trim. My cat however is absolutely against wearing the harness. She just laid down and growled the entire time it was on her. I don’t think it’s any fault of the harness at all, cat is likely defective and/or a spoiled little princess.

Seems comfortable, good quality, full mobility We're about to get a new yard and wanted something to expose our cat to the outdoors without her running off. This hard fits comfortably and does not prevent mobility. The leash feels kind of weak, but because it's for a cat, it should hold up. Our cat doesn't normally like wearing stuff, but seemed to be unbothered by this harness.

A harness and leash for safely and securely walking my cat. I got this escape proof cat harness and leash for my adventurous rescue cat. She was once an outdoor stray but now shes an indoor cat that missed her outside time. With this harness, I feel it is much safer to take her on walks. The full body, snug fit design distributes pressure evenly with a soft, ergonomic neckline that prevents her from slipping out while keeping her comfortable. The lightweight breathable material keeps her cool, even during longer adventures, and after taking a bit to get used to it, she actually seems relaxed wearing it. Putting it on and taking it off is quick and easy with the velcro and buckles. The hardware seems durable and secure. The blue and green tropical pattern is cute, but I do wish there was a slightly more feminine option, but she doesn't care what color it is. The reflective strips make her highly visible during evening walks. Overall, this harness feels secure yet gentle. I highly recommend it for any cat owner wanting stress free, cat safe outdoor time.

Solid harness for cats I have a 9lbs cat and the medium fits her well with some room to spare. My cat has no problem walking and maneuvering in this harness and leash set. She would of course prefer not to use it at all, but she doesn't get to walk outside without it since she can't be trusted. I am confident that she can't escape this harness since it fits so well. This is the style of harness I like the most since it doesn't have any skinny straps digging into my pet. It can be briefly difficult to get your cat to "step into" the arm holes for this harness but if you do one arm at a time it's not too bad. The matching leash nice and good quality, but I do prefer a retractable leash so I swap it out. The design is quite the vibe, it’s quite the party! I appreciate that it's got reflective accents. Overall, even if my cat doesn't love wearing a harness, this one is functional and looks comfortable enough for her.

Easy to PUt on and Take Off -- But Very Secure The problem with most cat harnesses is that they are too complicated to adjust--and they are uncomfortable for the cat. This harness takes only seconds to put on and off, and uses Velcro to secure it closed. It also comes with a leash. This harness is broad where it needs to be broad, and you can clip the harness onto two small D-rings at the top of the harness. Our cat has no issues with it and we can take him outside with no worry that something will spook him and cause him to run into the woods--or road.

standard construction is better for long haired cats My previous harness was a different construction. It was a wide piece of fabric with the velcro that attaches on the chest side. With our late cat, it was a bit difficult because she had a lot of fluff there. With this harness, the velcro is on top. It should be easier. I can't test it yet, our future cat is not with us yet.

Bright and convenient My cat is an indoor cat but we like to take him out in the garden for a bit of fresh air on a leash, otherwise he would just escape. Since we randomly get him out throughout the day, the regular harnesses are a bit of a hassle to put on. You need to close 4 straps. So here’s where this harness is great. It’s much easier to put on. You slide the legs inside the front holes and just close one strap at the top. It’s so much more convenient and faster. The colors of this harness are nice and bright. A bit of nature in my dry area. The leash has the regular length. I used the measurement guide online to order the right size. My cat is still a kitten so he will grow a bit more. I needed to order a S to leave a bit of growing room. I did order a S and received an XS. But it actually fit my cat better, so I’m not mad. And it still has some room to grow, so the leash is on a the large side.

Size M recommended for bigger cats I got this for my cat. I should have measured and made a selection based on the posted size guide. I got a small but should have sized up to a medium, since my cat measures at 16". Putting it on him was not a fun or easy task, even though he is accustomed to wearing a harness with thinner straps. This harness is so cute! The colours are vibrant and the piece is nicely padded. There's even a bit of extra room if you don't perfectly line up the velcro. What I really like about it is the security. It's not just the velcro that secures it, it's also held together with a plastic snap closure for added peace of mind. The leash is a good length and thickness too.

Perfect fit for my 6.5 pound cat This harness fits my 6.5 pound cat perfectly. She is a small 2 year old cat and has been watching the other cats out on the deck through the window. It was time to get her a harness to start her training to go on the fenced in deck area. This harness also comes with a nice matching leash so that was great. This harness is really the best one I have now. The design of it opening up completely to pull up over the legs and then wrap around to velcro it closed makes this so much easier to put it on the cat. It also makes it so much quicker to put on and also quick to remove. The leash attaches to the double loops in back which pull that part a little closer together and gives better hold on the cat. There is absolutely no pulling on the neck at all which is very important to not have. My cat didn't mind this harness at all. I look forward to training her on the deck with this harness and leash on her. The quality of this is really good too and I expect this will last for a while. There is also a little measuring tape included to measure your pet for sizing of items they might need.

Great harness, decent material This is a very nice cat harness, especially for the value. It's not the most sturdy well-built thing, but for the price I wouldn't expect it to be much better than it is. It should definitely last a few years has a nice design and material and my cat seems quite comfortable in it. I don't know if it'll last through multiple washes and for many years, but for a few years it should be a really good harness!

The step-in design makes getting it on easier than the over-the-head style that most cats fight you on. The material is lightweight and soft enough that my cat wasn't bothered by it after the first few minutes. No signs of chafing or irritation around the legs or chest. The concern is adjustability. These come in a range of sizes, which sounds like flexibility, but within each size the adjustment range is fairly narrow. If your cat falls between two sizes or carries weight unevenly you might end up with something that's too snug in one spot and loose in another. Measuring carefully before ordering is important here, because you can't just crank the straps to make it work the way you can with more adjustable harnesses. The leash included is basic but functional. Comfortable harness that does its job well once you get the right fit. Recommended, just spend the extra minute with a measuring tape before picking your size.

Measure multiple times My cat had a chest measurement of 15-15.5 so I had ordered a medium. The medium was too big on her (images) so I had reordered a small! The small fit her way better and I feel safer knowing it is not loose. I would say the harness is good quality and lives up to its advertisement. My cat is use to H harnesses but she adapted pretty well to this one. I am quite pleased with the color and would suggest others to order a color that would stand out if they were to get lose outside on a wall. My calico is 10lbs and has more of an athletic build

I cannot recommend this Please note I am saying do not buy this for your cat. I wanted a harness and leash for introducing my new cat to our balcony. I was afraid she would want to jump up on the porch railing. I put this on her and put the loop of the leash on the leg of a heavy chair so cat wouldn't be able to jump up to the railing. Then I went inside. Came out 5 minutes later and the cat is right on the railing, and this is the third floor. SHE PULLED HERSELF OUT OF THE HARNESS. The problem there is nothing around the cat’s neck so one good pull will get her out of the harness. She could have died.
