Super quality, fits small cats Sometimes I like to have my cats outside with me on the porch, attached to a tieout. I've had good luck with a similar harness on my larger cat, he has never managed to escape, so I got this version for my smaller cat. She is 6.5 lbs and was easily getting out of a velcro harness. This one was the perfect size for her, adjusted to about the mid lengths. It's too cold for us to go out yet but it fits snugly and the closures are secure and look feel premium. The material is also top notch, a tight weave with a nice sheen and and pattern. Edges and stitching looks neat, the gun metal finish looks great too. While I haven't tested the escape-proofnesss, I'm pretty sure I won't be disappointed based on the quality and being familiar with this design. The only thing I would caution is the sizing. This barely fit on my 10lb cat. Besides that, awesome harness/leash set!! (Although my kitty hates it and can only walk in lowrider mode with it on. Lol)

So far, so good! I have a beautiful half Maine coon that I am leash training for lake days and camping trips. It also helps adjust her to going outside around the house. This is her second harness, as the first ‘escape proof’ harness didn’t stay secure and I had to adjust it regularly, and was a pain to get on! This harness is much easier to put on the cat, and she seems to feel more comfortable in it. Today was her second wearing, and we were out at the lake. She actually got up to speed walking along with us a few times, and felt comfortable exploring. She wasn’t staying low in the ‘harness flat’ posture. She got freaked out and tried to back out of the harness twice, and even though I have it slightly loose while she gets used to it, she wasn’t able to wriggle out. Really glad I found a good solution, and such a stylish one at that!
Cute and easy to get on kitty leash - for cat-lead adventures We want to start bringing our cat outside now that the weather is warming up enough to hang out there. She’s not so sure she likes it, or the harness, but it works well. I love the pink with leopard print design, so cute for a girl! It’s easy to put on, with the tie around the neck and 2nd one around the waist. The clips work well. Sizing is good for our little Kira, adjustable easily too. We managed to take a short walk (her leading of course) to explore our yard. I slip my hand through the handle so I don’t end up letting go. A padded handle would have been a nice addition. Costs 23$. Reasonable, tho under 20$ would be better. Shout out to the graphic designer for the bag it came it - love the kitty astronaut in space!
Awesome cat harness easy to get on! cat harness and leash set turned out way better than I expected. The material is soft, lightweight, and doesn’t feel bulky on my cat at all. I got the pink one and it’s really cute in person. After adjusting the straps, it fit securely and stayed in place much better than other harnesses I’ve tried before. I was mainly looking for something comfortable and safer for outdoor walks, and this worked really well. The harness seems sturdy without restricting movement, and my cat was still able to walk around naturally once she got used to wearing it. The leash clips on securely and gives good control without feeling too heavy. It’s also surprisingly easy to put on and take off, which makes a huge difference with cats that don’t like sitting still for long. I’ve used it for short walks, car rides, and vet visits, and it’s been really useful. Overall, this is a great option if you want a comfortable, adjustable harness that feels more secure and escape resistant while still being gentle on your cat.
Affordable high quality cat harness… I have an inside cat that takes every chance he gets to run outside. Having this harness eases the anxiety of him running away but also give him the pleasure of being outside. This harness is of high quality. Easily adjustable and truly escape free. Very sturdy and strong but delicate enough to provide comfort and support to my cats fragile windpipe. Now my cat was acting a little weird when I put this on him but I’m sure it’s just something he has to get used to lol. All in all I would say this harness was affordable and of great quality so I absolutely recommend!
It Definitely Works The fact that our cat does not like this leash harness, was a clear indication that it works! Our cat is a house cat. And has been since a few hours out of the womb. So much so, when go on trips and take her along, she doesn’t want to come out of her carrier, and when she finally does, she finds a hiding place that takes us days to find her. We NEEDED this harness leash for her own safety. Outside of us and our dog, she is anti-social and even hides when guests come over. It is self-explanatory how to get it on her but she fought, hissed, and screeched. She absolutely does not like it. It’s sturdy (thank goodness) so she was unable to gnaw it loose. Given time of she had to wear it long-term, she probably would, but it’s only for when we are out on family trips to protect her from getting lost or stuck in one of her many too secure hiding places.
Great for cat parents! The PetThem cat harness and leash set is essential for those cat parents who take their cats on walks. The material is thick and has snap away locks in case your pet gets stuck on something. It is lightweight and isn’t rough against a cat. My kitten is a bit too small to take on walks, but harness training has been a success so far. She doesn’t seem to bothered by it.
Old cats CAN learn new tricks My fully indoor cat seemed curious about what's going on outside recently. In her 12 years she's always been too scared to even be in the same room as an open door so this was new. I'd love it if I could hang out on the patio with her so I thought to try to take her out on a leash. I wasn't sure what to expect putting a harness on her for the first time. She's very petite at around 6 pounds. This harness is adjustable and fit her just right. You could fit a smaller cat in it (a kitten, I guess - few cats are smaller) but also there's still lots of room to expand for a normal sized cat. The harness is made from a thick material and I worried if it would be too stiff for her, but she didn't mind having it on at all. She had no problems walking with it on. I like it that it came with a leash already so I didn't have to buy it separately. The length is pretty standard, short, but honestly, you want the leash short when walking with a cat (anyone who's ever walked with a cat on a leash knows you don't walk a cat - the cat walks you). The first walk went well. My cat likes the experience. Rolling around on the concrete is her new favorite.
Still Going Strong Have used it for over a year and it is still perfect. No escapes either. We have washed it because it goes through adventures. We’re out and about and been through mud, snow, hiking, rain and the washing machine. Might buy a backup.
Cute leash Hasn't Escaped Yet Bought this for my kitten as I wanted to make him an adventure cat. The leash and harness work great he hasn't seem to be able to get out of it. He is now 8 months and the harness is adjustable so it is growing with him which is great. He doesn't seem to mind wearing it but he hates being outside so no adventure cat for me. We still use it for the cat car seat we have and for the cat stroller we got for him because he hates walking outside
Cat is stuck in harness due to poor quality clasp I thought: hey, let me put it on the cat loosely while he's calm, see what he thinks. Then I can figure out sizing and try again, and while we're doing this, he'll start getting used to it while he's wearing a cone and less likely to notice. Unfortunately, there's something wrong with the clasp and I can't get it open, and this has been going on for long enough that I'm going to have to cut it off. I guess that meets the definition of escape proof. Edit: After about an hour of trying to unhook it, I did indeed have to cut it off the poor guy. Cat tax photo evidence included.
Fits well, good quality Good quality. Works well for my 9lb cat and she hasn't been able to slip out of them. I would advise against these for larger cats though. Fits my smaller cats well but it definitely would not work for my 16lb and 25lb cats.
Harness lives up to its description ! Really pleased with this harness. The cats love it , gives them the feeling of freedom with conteol this cat mom needs. Fits well , fully adjustable
Great harness for AVERAGE sized cat This cat harness and leash work well for my smaller cat (9lbs) shown in photos, but not my 25lb cat. He's too big around middle. Im confident it would fit most cats. It didn't come with instructions but one look at the product photo and I understood. The smaller piece goes around the neck. The bigger part under front legs. Make sure the part the leash attaches to is on top. The design is pretty and not gender specific. My cat seemed comfortable with the harness itself. But this cat had never been outside before. I'd intended it for the bigger cat.
Pretty good cat harness, I just wish the leash was a bit longer This is a pretty basic harness, it's not one of the padded/ mesh ones with a chest piece to it, it's just a basic neck strap like a collar connected with a strap around the belly/ behind the front legs. With that being said, it's secure, good quality and does the job for sure. I tried to get a picture of our girl Mandy wearing it, but she's horrendous at staying still especially when you put a harness on her, so that mission was unsuccessful lol. My one complaint is leash length, I wish it was longer. This seems like the bare minimum. I have a longer leash from a different harness set I'll probably just swap it and use that leash instead of this short one. Overall, quite good, I'll be keeping this as the harness for when we have to put her in the carrier in the car, just incase she tries to slip out of our arms on the way in or out.
Secure, adjustable, and surprisingly good quality I actually got this for a small dog since a lot of regular harnesses don’t fit properly, and it worked really well. It feels very secure once it’s on and is easy to put on without being a struggle. The straps are adjustable so you can get a good fit, and it sits comfortably without seeming restrictive. The leash is surprisingly good quality, it feels thick and well stitched with a bit of weight to it, and doesn’t come across as flimsy at all. The clips and hardware feel solid and everything holds together well. I’ve been using it for regular walks and it’s been reliable, and I like that the harness and leash match. Overall it’s a really solid option, especially if you need something secure for a smaller pet.
Size fitting is great Fits really good on my cat, he's kinda big so I'm glad it fits!
Weird fit but kind of works My cat isn't a super energetic one, nor is he terribly combative when I have him wear a harness, so he won't cast the magic liquid cat act that gets him out of said harness when well adjusted. So at least for my cat, this harness is effectively escape proof. But typically an escape proof harness would have a strap that goes down the chest which this one does not. And while the build quality of the strap is good, with secure stitches, strong webbing, and good quality hardware, I find the shape and fit very awkward. Although the sizing per the chart is correct, the straps do not allow my cat's shoulder blade to clear the gap between the two straps. This makes it very uncomfortable for him. So... I think the sizing chart might need to have a length fitment added rather than just two girths. A smaller cat might have a better time but sadly it wasn't compatible for us.
Secure - should stop this “one orange brain cell” from backing out Our orange cat likes some patio time but he’s figured out how to slither out of most harnesses. Since this has a loop around his collar and just behind his legs, he’s pretty “locked in”. Harness was easily adjusted, fit securely and is easy to remove when he’s safely inside. I gave him a managed observation period outside and even when he got a little tangled around a chair he couldn’t back out of it. Good for escape artists!
Going to take some getting used to It's a good harness. It fits our old cat just fine. It's easy to adjust. The traps are your typical nylon or whatever they make leashes out of. It doesn't choke our old kitty and seems to be no less comfortable than having a collar on. Helps to keep her safe when she's wanting to wander a bit too far. The way it connects to the back provides for maximum mobility without choking her. The only issue that we have is getting her used to having her freedom infringed upon.
